TV: Dummies Guide to Bad Education
Posted on Thursday, 18 September 2014
The new and possibly last series of Bad Education returned to our screens on tuesday night. If you haven't watched the show yet you should probably get on to that asap, there are only 14 episodes so far and every one of them is guaranteed to have you laughing!
The series follows the lives of the teachers and students of Abbey Grove school, a fictional school based in the UK. Merely out of his teenage years himself, Alfie Wickers is the immature and at times irresponsible history teacher who is in love with and constantly trying to impress biology teacher Rosie. Headmaster Shaquille 'Simon' Fraser and deputy head mistress Miss Pickwell steal the show with eccentric Fraser's banter and Pickwell's stern but hilarious demeanor.
Of course the show would be nothing without the kids.
Promiscuous Chantelle who loves to make Alfie uncomfortable, Jing the only sensible and responsible student in class, Joe the class geek and teachers pet, bad boy and class clown with a potty mouth Mitchell, cheeky Rem Dogg who won't let being in a wheelchair hold him back, Stephen the happy and camp sidekick to Chantelle, and school bully Frank who especially enjoys intimidating Alfie whenever he gets the chance.
Definitely recommended for fans of Fresh Meat, Backchat, and The Inbetweeners!
