Elegant Touch: Sailor Boy

Posted on Thursday, 4 September 2014

For the past few months i've found a newfound love for fake nails. As i'm a nail picker i'm never able to grow my nails for very long before I have the urge to pick them off, as such it's nice to have the option to get that instant length on my nails.
In comes Elegant Touch: Accent Studded Nails range. I picked up the Sailor Boy packet from Tesco Orpington as they were on sale (and who doesn't love a good bargin). They normally retail for about £7 but I got mine for about £3-£4.
White nails have been a big trend this summer and I loved the mini gold balls for the accented nail. For my look I decided on having the accented nail on my index and ring finger.
The nails come with a variety of sizing to fit most finger nails and a tab of stick on adhesives. I personally would not recommend using the stick on adhesives. I found the nails didn't stay on for very long when I used them, any slight pressure against the nail and they would pop off. However before trying out the adhesive tabs I decided to use my Elegant Touch Brush on Nail Glue which worked perfectly. The nails lasted roughly for a week which is the estimated lifetime of these types of nails, but this was only due to using nail glue and not the adhesive stick on tabs that were supplied.
Overall I did enjoy the product and would like to try out the other styles however only if the packs were on sale, £7 for nails and stick on tabs that don't seem to work well is just not worth it in my opinion.
