KRIZIA
1. Playstation
I've always been a Playstation person, i've never gotten into XBox and i've been missing having a  Playstation in my life for quite some time. I miss playing Crash Bandicoot!

At the moment it's feeling more like winter than summer down here so a Christmas jumper would be perfect right now. I've seen this design in a few other places (and in different colours) but i do love black! and of course i love the quote from one of my favourite Christmas movies.

Full House reruns have been on TV recently and its brought back a lot of memories from my childhood. This was one of my favourite TV shows in the 90s and i always used to see the DVDs being sold separately per season, but now i've found this amazing boxset and i have to have it!

1. Water Filtration Bottle
I've been meaning to start drinking more water recently mainly for the health benefits such as better skin, feeling more refreshed, and I think it would help with my IBS problem. Not that i'm not a fan of tap water but there's nothing like fresh filtered water that you get from the grocery store or the local diary (newsagent in the UK). This bottle does just this! All you have to do is put in the filter disc and add some water!

2. Tattoo from Sasha Unisex
My sister linked me to a Buzzfeed article about this uber talented tattoo artist from Russia. Ever since then i've been dying to get a tattoo from her. I love her watercolour, no block line style. A trip to Russia may have to be on the cards to fulfill this wish!

3. Treadmill
For the past year I've really gotten interested in getting fit and healthy, it's a tad hard being a uni student and with my procrastination nature even though I have a gym membership I don't go as much as I'd like (especially now in the colder months). BUT if I had my own treadmill I could run in the comfort of my own home!

Krizia's Favourite Christmas Movies

Posted on Friday, 12 December 2014

1.Home Alone
Home Alone is one of my favourite Christmas movies and a 90s classic by the legendary John Hughes! Kevin McCallister is accidentally left at home when his family (and extended family who have all gathered at the McCallister home before a trip to Paris) have to rush to the airport after a power cut resets the alarms. While his parents are desperately trying to get home to him from France he is living it up and loving the new independence. However, he soon realizes the house is being targeted by burglars and it's up to him to protect his home all by himself.

2.Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
Home Alone 2 is another Christmas classic and like the first movie the McCallister's have organized another big Christmas family vacation, this time to Florida. They end up sleeping in again and have to rush to the airport but this time they make sure Kevin is definitely with them. At the airport Kevin gets split up from the group as they're running to their gate and follows another man with the same jacket as his dad. The family once again have to find their way back to Kevin while he is having the time of his life-until he runs into some familiar faces.

3.The Santa Clause
I haven't watched the sequels to this, but i love the first film! Scott Calvin is spending some time with his son Charlie on Christmas Eve when they're awoken by noises on the roof. Scott goes to investigate and ends up startling a man who falls off the roof and vanishes, but leaves behind a santa suit, reindeer, and a sleigh. Scott puts on the suit and finishes Santa's work before the reindeer head back to the North Pole where the head elf explains that by putting on the suit and entering the sleigh Scott has agreed to be the new Santa.

4.Look Who's Talking Now I'm not a huge fan of the first two movies (Look Who's Talking, and Look Who's Talking Too) but Look Who's Talking Now is another one of my favourite 90s Christmas movies. After accepting a very hectic job as a pilot James doesn't get to spend a lot of time with his family. He ends up having to work on Christmas Eve where he gets stuck in a snow storm and Mollie, the children, and the dogs have to find him so they can all be together for Christmas. Unlike the first two movies where the children's interior monologues were voiced over, the third movie focuses more on the new family pets who are voiced by Danny Devito and Diana Keaton.

Sophie's Favourite Christmas Movies

Posted on Thursday, 11 December 2014

Christmas movies are one of the many things I enjoy about this season!
Over the next two days Krizia and I will share with you some of our fav Christmas Films!

1. Eight Crazy Nights
Eight Crazy Nights is the animated, musical, holiday film centring on Hanukkah and created and starring Adam Sandler. It seems to be a yearly tradition that me and my sister watch this regardless of where we are in the world. It follows the adult life of Davey Stone whom after his parent's death has lead a troubled life, after causing havoc and knocking over Menorah he gets saved from going to jail but Whitey Duvall, a 70 year old man that has one foot bigger then the other. Through the film we get to see Davey grow and tackle his demons.

2. Elf
Elf centres around Buddy played by Will Ferrell who as a baby snuck into Santa's sack and was then raised in the North Pole. Without the corruption of the real world, Buddy has an essence of innocence about him and his naivety leads to many a humorous moments as he travels to NYC to find his real father.

3. Muppets Christmas Carol
This timeless Christmas story has been retold in this Disney film with the help of the loveable Muppets. Kermit and Miss Piggy play Mr and Mrs Cratchit, Michael Caine plays Mr Scrooge and Gonzo plays the narrator Charles Dickens.

4. Love Actually
Love Actually centres around a handful of strangers and their individual stories around Christmas time. With a stellar cast boasting the creme de la creme of British talent in the likes of Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant this movie was always going to be a fan favourite. With lovable characters like Colin the "Sex God" and his plans to move to America for all the American girls, young boy Sam who learns to play the drums so he can impress the girl he's in love with and Hugh Grant playing the Prime Minister and dancing around 10 Downing Street.

Honourable Mentions
The Santa Clause (Check back tomorrow for Krizia's post)
Home Alone 1 & 2 (Check back tomorrow for Krizia's post)
